Young carers free family days out
We’re proud to offer the Young Carers Free Family Days Out programme to all registered young carers and their families.
As a registered young carer, you and your family can enjoy free access to our membership passes up to 12 times per year.
Please read this information carefully, as we have updated our terms and conditions. Our priority is to keep you, your family, and the public safe. Along with changes to our booking procedure, it is essential to familiarise yourself with the health and safety guidance outlined by each of our membership venues.
Venues and Passes Available
- Bristol Zoo Project – 4 Adults & 4 Children
- Noah's Ark Zoo Farm – 2 Adults & 2 Children
- Puxton Park – 2 adults and 2 children
- We the Curious - 4 adults and 4 children
How to Book
- Use our booking form to request your visit.
- Families must provide multiple date options. Once you submit your preferred dates, you must keep them clear until we confirm your booking. Failure to do so may result in the loss of access to the Free Family Days Out programme.
- Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee your preferred day or time. Many venues now require time slot bookings, which we cannot accept requests for. Bookings will be made according to venue availability.
- Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you a letter for entry (instead of physical passes). This letter is valid only for the specific day you have booked.
- We accept bookings only within 40 days of your visit. Confirmation depends on venue availability.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please inform the Young Carers Team as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to another family.
Failure to notify us of cancellations may result in the loss of access to the Young Carers Free Family Days Out programme.
