Tailored one-to-one support based on your individual needs, to help maintain your caring role and wellbeing.
Carers Support Officers provide one-to-one support to carers. We work with you to explore the options available to you as a carer. Our Carers Support Officers provide tailored one-to-one support based on your individual needs.
One-to-one work includes emotional support, practical advice, advocacy, information on a range of caring subjects and signposting to further, often specialised, support.
We can help with form filling, applying for specific benefits such as Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance and Carers Allowance, and applications to charitable trusts for grants. We can also support carers at formal meetings with health and social care professionals.
