This is an exciting time to join our friendly board as a Trustee. Carers Support Centre is an independent registered charity. We improve the quality of life and promote the rights of children and adult unpaid carers.
We are always keen to hear from people who might expand the skills and experience of our body of trustees for the benefit of the organisation and carers we support. We welcome you to contact us to have a chat about your experience, skills and interests.
All Trustees must demonstrate:
Support from other trustees will be available to help you settle in as well as training and opportunities to observe key meetings in the early stage of your involvement. We are not looking to fill a specific role at this time but would like someone who has the skills alongside the passion and motivation to get involved in the work of the board.
A finance professional. A knowledge of charity finance is an advantage. Otherwise, an enthusiasm to learn, drawing from sound commercial experience and an understanding of SMEs.
